Sara is passionate about supporting people to live life enriched, with Love and Purpose.

Meet Sara

Sara is a relational therapist and bodywork practitioner, in practice since the mid-1990s. A central tenet of her work is that no one is broken, and that meaningful change comes from reconnecting with an inherent quality within, rather than fixing or bettering what is perceived to be wrong or faulty.

Her work supports people who feel stuck, worn down, or overwhelmed, often carrying questions of identity, belonging, meaning, or purpose. She works with adults and young people who want more than coping strategies; they want to live more from who they truly are.

Experience & Perspective

Sara’s practice has spanned a broad range of human experience through individual and relationship counselling and diverse bodywork modalities. Her work has been influenced by living, studying, and working across Australasia, Asia, North America and Canada, Africa, the Middle East, and Europe.

This breadth of experience has informed her on the universality of human experience how people respond to loss, pressure, expectation, trauma, and change, across contexts and belief systems.

Professional Work & Breadth

Alongside private practice, Sara has spent many years working in the corporate and Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) sector, designing and delivering wellbeing programmes for blue-chip organisations, and providing clinical assessment and counselling for high-risk clients, including situations of conflict, bullying, complaints procedures, redundancy and dismissal.

Her work has spanned sectors including legal, finance, medical, technology, education, and the performing arts, supporting people navigating high responsibility, performance pressure, and complex relational environments.

Young People

Sara is deeply committed to supporting young people to remain connected to their innate wisdom while navigating the increasing demands of adolescence and early adulthood.

Alongside her weekly work as a school counsellor, her private practice attracts teenagers and young adults in their twenties seeking support with identity, relationships, emotional regulation, purpose, and the transition adult life.

Relational & Body-Based Practice

Sara’s approach is embedded with relational depth and somatic (body-based) awareness, informed by psychodynamic counselling and many years of bodywork practice. Her early training in Chinese medicine-based approaches such as Shiatsu and Acupuncture has evolved into energy-aware healing, connective tissue therapy, and chakra-puncture.

This integrated approach allows work to take place beyond words alone, particularly where experiences are held in the body or feel difficult to articulate.

Working Alongside Medicine

Sara works in complement and respect for medical science, not in opposition to it. Many medical professionals and academics seek her out for support, including nurses, doctors, physiotherapists, clinical psychologists, psychiatrists, and psychologists.

Her work is particularly valued where symptoms or experiences cannot be fully explained through rational or diagnostic frameworks alone.
